Well child visits allow us to examine your child holistically; assess their physical and emotional needs, support their growth and development, and intervene quickly if any issues arise. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” This couldn’t be truer for well child visits.

Each well visit includes mandated screenings, age appropriate emotional screenings, a complete physical, and a dietary analysis. Prior to the well child visit, you will complete a food journal and health questionnaire. These visits are meant to be preventative in nature. If your child has a chronic condition that needs treatment and management, please schedule a complex condition appointment.

This appointment can be either in office or virtual, depending on the situation and are scheduled for 30 minutes. Please contact the office at 512-553-8859 to schedule this appointment.

If your child is facing a complex or chronic health condition that requires treatment and management, your first appointment is scheduled for 2 hours to gather an extensive history and background, and build a treatment plan together with you. Follow ups are scheduled as needed.
